What Hunters Aid is
Hunters Aid is a scouting and community tool for Arkansas hunters — a WMA map, public wildlife/farming/river data, a land-leasing contact board, and community features (Talk, Harvest Log, a hunter directory, and messaging). It's an independent, unofficial project — not affiliated with AGFC, USDA, USGS, or NOAA, even though it uses their public data.
Accounts
You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for anything that happens under your account. Give us accurate information when you sign up. You must be at least 18 to create an account.
Content you post
You own what you post — listings, harvest logs, Talk posts, messages, photos. By posting it, you're giving Hunters Aid permission to display it on the site the way it's designed to work (for example, a land listing or Talk post is meant to be publicly visible; a hunting spot pin or a direct message is not). You're responsible for what you post, and you confirm you actually have the right to post it.
The land-leasing side
Hunters Aid is a contact board, not a broker, agent, or party to any lease. We don't verify that a listing's owner actually owns or controls the land, don't handle any payments, and don't guarantee any listing is accurate or safe to act on. If you use the leasing side, you're responsible for verifying who you're dealing with, meeting safely, and handling any money or agreements entirely on your own — see the safety notice on the leasing page for specifics.
What's not allowed
Don't use the site to harass or threaten anyone, post fraudulent listings, impersonate someone else, scrape or bulk-extract data, or use it for anything illegal. We can remove content or suspend accounts that violate this, at our discretion.
Data accuracy
WMA info, waterfowl/deer/turkey season data, farming data, and river gauge readings come from public government sources and are provided as a convenience — they can be wrong, outdated, or incomplete. Always confirm actual hunting regulations directly with AGFC before you rely on anything here for legal compliance.
No warranty
Hunters Aid is provided "as is," with no guarantee it'll be available, accurate, or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for damages arising from your use of the site, including anything related to a land lease, a hunt, or interactions with other users.
Changes
We may update these terms as the site changes. Continuing to use Hunters Aid after an update means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas.
